Operations Research Scientist - Supply Chain Modeller

Job Description :
Opex Analytics is seeking an Operations Research Scientist who will work for our
customers to model and optimize various aspects of their supply chains. You should be

Responsibilities :
- Be able to work with a customer to understand the problem they are facing
- Perform ETL on the data our customer provides us
- Model a customer solution in a modeling language or in a supply chain optimization
tool such as LLamasoft
- Present results in a clear and compelling way using visualization tools such as
Tableau
- Be committed to ongoing development of your skills, both technical and business
Basic Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Operations Research / Industrial Engineering
- Comfortable building Linear Programming & Mixed Integer Programming models
- Experience with a modeling language such as AMPL, GAMS, XPress and a solver such as
CPLEX or Gurobi
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts such as network design and inventory
policy
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- 3+ years experience in a related role
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python or C++
- Proficiency with a supply chain modeling tool such as LLamasoft SC Guru
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Experience working with data via SQL and/or other ETL tools
