Data Science Consultant

As an Opex Analytics Data Science Consultant you will take on the role of a primary
analyst on client projects. You will work on the cutting edge of analytics and apply it
to real, operational business problems. Your project will encompass a healthy mix of
data prep, machine learning and visualization, implemented (usually) in the tool of
your choice. Variety in the types of projects you could support is at the heart of
working for Opex Analytics and is what makes it an exciting place to be. That -- and
the 70+ fellow Data and Operations Research Scientists working by your side.
Over the course of your work at Opex you may encounter:
- Building a successful end-to-end data science solution for our clients in a team or
on your own.
- Building ETL as a means to modeling
- Using applied statistics and advanced machine learning techniques
- Coding in Python, R and/or SQL
- Building Visualizations in Tableau, Shiny R or D3
- Working with imperfect data
- Passion and eagerness from co workers to both teach and learn from you
- Deploying solutions to meet our clients’ needs
- Collaboration with and presentations to clients throughout the course of the
project
